Building Hope Children's Home

The Building Hope Children's Home was founded in November 2007 and is the second of two orphanages under the ministry of the Church of God in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, India. Currently there are 15 street children now living in this home located in Gannavaram, Andhra Pradesh, India. Much like the children from the Esther Children's Home, these children are destitute. Most of them were discovered simply wandering the streets with no place to go.

All of the 15 children need sponsors. If you are interested in this, please send an email to sponsor@buildhopenow.org and BHM will send the start-up information for you.

For a donation of only $30.00 per month, this will supply food, clothes, medical, school supplies and miscellaneous needs, such as haircuts, for your sponsored child.

Building Hope Ministries recently traveled to the Building Hope Children's Home in January 2008 for an opening ceremony. It was a very festive time as the children celebrated with a very good meal, music, and fellowship.

Currently, the children are staying in one half of someone's home in Gannavaram. Like the Esther Children's Home, the girls sleep in one room and the boys sleep in another. Perhaps one day they will have a permanent structure to live in. For now, though, the greatest need is monthly sponsorship for their day-to-day needs.
